I am so excited to post this...I have been working on it a LONG time. Our assignment this month was to cut out our own stencils...so without further adieu...
Here are some nifty tags I made with a heartagram stencil. I tried to use spray paint...I should not be allowed to use it.
More samples of my tags with stencils, stamps and such. The bottom tag has some spray paint, but I found ink pads to agree with me.
You just knew Ville was going to pop up, didn't you!?!
Ha ha, I call this a self portrait. The face is a stencil, the flowers are stickers, and the swirly things I drew with my favorite Berol Prismacolor Pencils, can't create without them!
This one was a blast. I was delighted in the way the stencil of...you know who turned out. I trimmed the flowers from a vintage pad of paper I had. The lyrics are from one of my fave HIM songs HEAVEN TONIGHT, I typed them up on an old fashioned typewriter. I love typewriters, I may have to blog about them one of these days. Send all of your old typewriters this way!

I listened to most of the songs on the site from yesterday, I added it to my list of favs and IT.IS.DIRECTLY.UNDER.FORCRYEYE! I couldn't have made that up it I wanted to! I will be picking up a copy and if Ville sees the awesome work you do with the stencils and pencils, HIM just might want you to do an album cover!! Are they still called album covers? Anyway, have a great one!! Love, T
Paula - loving your stencils (of course!) Terrific tags and images and those Valo's are perf, as is your self-portrait! Love Heaven Tonight....it's on my signature in the forum :) Thanks for sharing your coolness with the street team. Still tapping my fingers.....no dvd arrival yet. *pouts*
You are so talented! The last one is my favorite...
Your stencils all turned out great, you made fab pieces with them! Very nice self-portrait! I think I'm one of those not meant to use spray paint, either - that's okay, plenty of other messy art supplies for us to color with! :)
ooooh - that side profile of Ville is poifect!
I love the far right heartagram tag too, really purty colours
oh - and cool tat!!! your dad sounds like mine...when he read on my blog about my planned next tattoo he referred to it as my "imminent mutilation" :)
Ooh .. so cool.
You did a very great stencil cutting.
Great job! The last one is especially cool!!!!
You're so cool, P! You have to show me some of your stuff in person sometime soon. The stencil of you is dead on! I could never do stuff like that. I'm always impressed when someone I know can. Such a rockstar! :) Love ya,
Erin
PS - Finished Pillars of the Earth in two days. That book totally rocks. Too bad no one else would read it. :)
Girl, you are always doing cool stuff like that. Where do you get all these assignments?
No more word verification! We are opening ourselves up to lots of Spam, you know! Very cool! I'm glad that you are on board too! Having a good week? I just cried because my son started working at a golf course. He passed his first drug test!(of course) YAY! I looked outside and his car was gone. I lost it! I called hubby crying but I warned him not to tell our son! :( Hugs and love, T
hello,
your stencils look great ! Especially the one of Ville on the last photo ( I'm not a HIM fan, but I do like their music). I like the different tags too.
I would send you a photo of the stencil I used on my wall and that you want te see bigger , but I didn't found your emailadress...
I scrolled down and saw your tatoo. You must be a big fan ! I like the scroll. I always said I wanted a tattoo, but haven't done it yet. I would like one of Brian Froud's fairies, but I'm 42 now and I wonder how the tattoo will look when I'm 82... ( would a wrinkled fairy still be cute ? ). My 15 year old daughter says I should take a tattoo : with a fairy or a cat... Maybe I should take the advice of my daughter....
greetings
Inge ( from Belgium)
Wow ! You really rose to this challenge ! These are really detailed . I love your self-portrait ! Great smile..
Cheers,
Kim
You are amazing. And so talented. You need to be doing something artsy with all of that talent. For real.
PLO - you truly Rock! you are so talented in so many ways. I adore you. ;)
Thanks for last night; as always, I love spending time with you.
Your stencils came out really great! I must try to make a face some time!
wow, just...wow. Those are the most awesome stencils! The faces are so great... simple looking yet I know how difficult they must have been, yet capture the essence of the subjects. Great art as always... very fun and yummy! I gotta find more time (and energy) for art!
