I Miss...

In no particular order and defiantly not a complete list of what I miss.

I miss my Mom, my Dad, my Sister, and Minneapolis.

I miss Las Vegas.

(Santa Monica)

I miss the Ocean.

I miss my friends in Heritage.

I miss the Huntley Hotties Book Club.

I miss being a kid, and the feeling of excitement I would get when Tammy (L) and Kevin (R) would come over. I also miss that dress, wish I had it in a big girl size. ;)

I miss my boy, I sure wish he wasn't all grown up and moved away.

I also miss my camera that some douche bag stole from me at O'Hare, on my own damn turf!

London Calling!

I know it is a long time coming...but wait no more...the following photo's are but a taste of why I
must return to London!!!

My Lord and King, aka: Mr. Forcryeye at Hampton Court Palace....Henry, eat your heart out!

Uh....the image scribed into my cornea's...forever and always...

Can you possibly imagine that Anne Boleyn was here? Seriously?

Hey wait....he wasn't included in my London Pass! But..I'll stay for his bangers, his beans and mash!

The Black Forest and Other Magical Places

Imagine yourself living in this lovely little hut, just outside of the Black Forest! I pictured myself with a bucket to take out to milk my goats, and gather eggs...when an image of a wild boar, bear, or wolf running at me destroyed my day dream!

But, just imagine seeing this every morning!
Then imagine what must be lurking in those trees besides the occasional troll and pixie. Maybe I would prefer the alps. I could ski into town for eggs instead of having my own hutch. What if I suffer a fall, who would find me first? The wolf I am sure. Do they have wolves in the alps? Well, anyway it is highly unlikely I will be re-locating to Deutschland or Switzerland, but a girl can dream...

Due to the overwhelming demand of fellow bloggers (Pat and Lisa) I have re-opened the ole blog! Plus, I have a new friend to share:
Welcome Kristi!

Europe Photo's No.1

Just a few lovely scenes from Amsterdam. I went on this trip thinking Amsterdam was just a starting point for my river cruise. Amsterdam had me at hello. It is a delightful, energetic, creative community...and it is so much more than the Red Light District. The Red Light District is suprisingly not offensive. We toured it with a group of senior citizens that were delighted at the streets, the buildings, the atmosphere...and not embarrased by the "windows". I saw women pushing strollers, and the police are very visable...it is clean and inviting. NOTHING like I thought it would be. I would love to return! Enjoy the pictures!
